My journey began at just 16 years old, when I dropped out of high school to work at my dad's furniture store. It was there that I discovered my passion for sales, and I quickly learned the ins and outs of the business.
By the time I was 21, I had saved up enough money to start my own shed lot. It was a risky move, but I was confident in my abilities and determined to succeed. And I did - my shed lot was a huge success, and by the age of 25, I was able to purchase my own furniture store.
My first year in business was a remarkable success - I was up 35% in sales, which allowed me to purchase even more stores and join forces with my brother Gary. Today, we have 26 retail locations and over $90 million in annual retail sales.
However, my success wasn't without its challenges. I tried multiple different training companies to help train our employees, but none of them seemed to relate to the everyday sales associates. So, I decided to create my own training platform to help train our employees, and it proved to be highly effective.
